WWW Wednesday

What are you currently reading?
Still plugging away at this one:

But I've also just started this one:

They're different enough to balance me out.

What did you recently finish reading?

A decent post-apocalyptic story, the first in a trilogy.

What do you think you’ll read next?
I've already ordered the next book in the Eve trilogy from the library. But until that comes in I plan to read this:

or this:

I also recently finished two books by Alexander McCall Smith (from two different series. I can't believe how prolific a writer he is). And I bailed on that Barbara Ehrenreich book Dancing in the Streets because it was just awful. There are too many books in my "to be read" stack to waste too much time on a book that I just don't like or with which I strongly disagree.

What are you reading now?

I thought about you last week while at my book club meeting. I've been in the same group for about 8 years. I usually enjoy it a lot, but this month's book was a stinker. I could not force myself to read it and, thus, greatly ticked off the leader of our group. At this point in my life, I do not have precious time to waste reading a book that I do not want to be reading! The author was Thomas Wolfe btw....

Heretic Queen looks good I always like learning more about Queen Elizabeth I, she was just so fascinating. I'm also intriqued by Mr Churchill's Secretary. Think I'm going to have to look more into that one.

My WWW Wednesday is here.
