WWW Wednesday

• What are you currently reading?
I've got two going right now:

Which is, as expected, fairly heavy reading. I always try to break up such intense reads with something a bit lighter. So I'm also reading this one:

But it's a bit more intellectual than I had intended. I may have to pick up a mystery or something. Then I'll have three going at once, which is not at all unusual for me.

• What did you recently finish reading?

You can also see my books finished in August list.

• What do you think you’ll read next?
These are two in my current stack:

I'm guessing I'll read the Alexander McCall Smith book next, since I have two heavy non-fiction books already in progress. Of course if any of my holds from the library come in, they might jump to the top of the stack.

What are you reading right now?

Have you read Ehrenreich's 'Nickel & Dimed?' What did you think? I think she sounded terribly entitled and so am not sure how I'd feel about reading another of her books.
And. . . oh, I spy someone from The Facts of Life!

I don't think I've read anything else by Ehrenreich. If "Dancing in the Streets" is any indication, I doubt I'll be looking for any more of her work.

Have you read anything by Lisa Whelchel (of The Facts of Life fame)? She has a very friendly writing style.

I'm with The Well Read Fish--after reading Nickel & Dimed I don't know that I'd try something else of hers.
