Weekend Links - September 1, 2012

September? How did that happen?!

No, really, I love September. Two of our baby girls have birthdays this month. Our church celebrates its birthday this month. We have a family reunion this month. Should make for some good times. (Plus, I really do love Fall. Sweaters. Smoke. Leaves. Fewer bugs. Really, what's not to love?)

I love this room. (Have I ever mentioned my abiding fondness for granny square blankets? Alas, we have a sad lack of granny square blankets in this house.)

Yes, let's keep calm and a read a book. Great advice! :-) I thought this take on truncated posts was interesting. Sure, I'd love the page views, but I'd much rather people read what I write. I love the simplicity of my reader, and promptly unsubscribe when I can't read the posts anymore in full. I'll find others to read, I've decided.

I agree! I follow so many blogs I usually just don't have time to deal with clicking through. I've saved a few articles by the "experts" who say that truncating your feed doesn't actually increase your page views. I'll be interested to see how this all shakes out.

I promise to be candid and you can be too. Blogging is best when it's a conversation. Thanks for taking the time to read this post and respond. I enjoy hearing what you have to say.
