Top 10 Tuesday - Glimpses of Me

The theme for Top 10 Tuesday this week (at The Broke and the Bookish) is:
Top Ten Posts On Your Blog That Would Give The BEST Picture of YOU

1. My About Me Page. I know, "Duh".

2. My Favorite Books Page. (Yes, those are Amazon Affiliate links.)

3. I did an entire series last year called 30 for 30. From the silly to the serious, those 30 lists covered a lot of ground.

4 -8.  One of my "Reading Year in Review" posts will give you a good idea of what I like to read and what I think about books / authors / writing styles in general:
9. I wrote a post (a long time ago!) about The House I Grew Up In. (The Grammar geek in me sure wishes I would have used a different title for that post...)

10. Earlier this year I shared "A Day in the Life". At that point I was still watching my nephew Fen and I was also pregnant (a fact I had not shared). Neither of those things are true now but the post is still fairly accurate.

There you go. Everything you ever wanted to know about me. OK, probably not. But if you read all those posts you'll know more about me than some of the people I know in non-blog (otherwise known as "real") life.

Do you have an "About Me" page on your blog?

This post is linked to Top 10 Tuesday hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and also at

Ok, I'll admit it, I was in tears reading your post about the house you grew up in. Your childhood sounds a lot like ours. I thank God for my childhood, as Im sure you do. Just last week a fb friend posted a picture of the house we lived in while at Addyston. It was so hard to see it so run down and looking so small and the same, yet different. That was only days after I saw a picture of the elementary school being torn down. While I only attended two years there, we spent a lot of time on those play grounds! the past is a hard subject to talk about, that's for sure! Also, the house we lived in when we moved to WV is going to be torn down too! I didn't spend as many years there but the memories are just as sweet!

I don't believe I've ever read your About Me page before. I didn't know about your counseling degree. That's on my short list of "if I was going to go back to school for something else" ideas. :)
I think I may turn on my stalkerish side and make sure I've read some of your other links. ;)

I promise to be candid and you can be too. Blogging is best when it's a conversation. Thanks for taking the time to read this post and respond. I enjoy hearing what you have to say.
