Five Question Friday

1. Thunder storms- love them or hate them?
Love 'em as long as the power doesn't go out and there's no significant damage. Love sleeping at night while it's raining, too.

2. Do your kids get back to school clothes?
No, not as such. They're homeschooled. They usually get dressed before we do school but they do not require completely new wardrobes for this. Our main problem right now is keeping the oldest dressed. We always have hand-me-downs to make sure the younger 3 are decent but we're having trouble keeping the oldest in clothes and shoes.

That's one of the problems with getting married early and having kids before your friends do: no hand-me-downs. One of the good things about having all daughters: they get clothes for birthdays and holidays and they like it.

3. Do you golf? Do you watch it?
No. And absolutely, no.

I haven't even played miniature golf in seven or eight  years.

I think I'd rather dust and vacuum than watch golf. {Gasps of astonishment from my golf loving Grandpa, Dad & brother right here.}

4. Showers or baths?
I used to be a bath person. Now it's showers all the way: super hot and as long as possible. Can't remember the last time I took a bath. (That's a pretty funny sentence. Stay away from the stinky blogger!)

5. What's the strangest meal you ever ate?
Well, Philip and I had a "Complete Traditional Scottish Breakfast" while we were in Scotland where we ate Blood Pudding (yuck) and Haggis (surprisingly not that bad. I'd eat it again).

I avoid Sushi because of some awful Sushi that made us sick while we were dating. Yes, lo those many fourteen years ago and I still will not try it again.

I love a lot of sea-food that other people avoid: calamari, crawdads, etc. Very few foods bother me. Sushi is the exception, I guess.

What's the strangest meal you ever ate? I'd love to hear about it!

Four girls!! What a blessing! I'm always worried about the power going out during storms too, and I'd rather clean than watch golf too! Happy weekend!
