Happy Birthday, Tigger!

When did this baby: Become this big five year old kid:
with her first bike?

I must have blinked.

And here, for those who were wondering, is the manatee cake:
Prince Charming and I created this, per Tigger's request, belly button and all. It had her name at the top as well, but we've blurred that part for the purposes of this blog.

Hours of work, and we ate most of it in about five minutes flat (20 people can do that). The important thing is Tigger had the cake she wanted. The bad thing is now she thinks her mommy and daddy can make any cake she can think up. I'm already dreading next year's request.

  2. Ha! Ha! You're worried about next year's cake? I'm frantically trying to remember what we bought Polly for her 6th birthday! :)

Btw, not only was the cake gorgeous but it tasted wonderful, too. That could explain why it disappeared in 5 minutes flat.

  4. Happy Birthday, Tigger!

I hope you took notes on the cake. You know... on the outside chance Sweet Pea requests a Manatee for HER birthday! ;) And I thought I made good bday cakes! Sheesh!

  6. Awesome job on the cake! Glad she had such a great birthday! Manatee cake AND a bike--I don't think life gets any better than that for a 5 year old:)

  7. One of my little girls is almost 6! How *does* that happen so fast?

The cake is awesome! My kids pick their own cakes every year, too. Thankfully, one of the resource I have is a book of cakes with lots of instructions. ;) They are all made of standard size pans, so that helps.

  9. Awe, love the cake! I think E thinks mommy can make any kind of cake too. All yr she talked about having a princess castle and, at the last minute, switched to a rainbow. Wa-hoo for mom!

Congrats, Tigger, on your big 5-year-old birthday!!
